The Project

We were approached by a homeowner looking to modernise their existing staircase and transform the appearance of their stairwell.

The brief was to replace the traditional staircase railing with a more contemporary design, combining brushed stainless steel handrails, stainless steel bollards and glass panels to create a clean, modern finish.

The aim was to introduce a more open and spacious feel to the stairwell while providing a stylish and practical handrail solution that complemented the overall interior of the property.

Our Solution

Working closely with the customer's requirements, we supplied and installed a bespoke stainless steel and glass balustrade system.

The design incorporated brushed stainless steel handrails, supported by stainless steel bollards, with glass panels fitted between to create a sleek and understated appearance.

The combination of brushed stainless steel and glass provides a modern contrast, allowing natural light to flow through the stairwell while maintaining a defined and secure barrier along the staircase.

Particular attention was given to the overall appearance and positioning of the components to ensure the finished installation complemented the existing staircase and surrounding interior.
