Bespoke Coffee Shop Fit-Out

The Project

We were approached by a specialist joinery company working on a coffee shop fit-out to manufacture a range of bespoke brass table tops as part of the shop's interior design.

The brief was to create something that combined practicality with visual appeal, providing durable surfaces for serving customers while also functioning as worktops for the day-to-day running of the coffee shop.

The customer wanted to achieve a distinctive ornamental, rustic appearance, with brushed brass providing a warm, characterful finish that would complement the overall design and feel of the premises.

Our Solution

Working alongside the joinery company, we manufactured bespoke brass table tops to meet the project's requirements, ensuring the finished pieces complemented the wider shopfront and interior fit-out.

An important part of the project was ensuring that the table tops accommodated the practical requirements of the coffee shop. Using our in-house laser cutting capabilities, we accurately cut the brass tops to incorporate specifically positioned openings for plumbing, water supplies and other service connections.

This allowed the necessary pipework and services to be accommodated neatly within the finished installation without compromising the overall appearance or design.

Laser Cutting & Bespoke Fabrication

Each brass top was carefully measured and laser cut to achieve the required dimensions and service openings, ensuring precision and consistency across the finished components.

Following the cutting process, attention was given to the surface finish, with the brass being specified in a brushed finish to achieve the desired aesthetic.

The brushed brass finish was a key design feature, adding texture and character while creating an attractive, understated metallic appearance. The combination of precision laser cutting and bespoke fabrication allowed us to produce components that were both visually appealing and practical for their intended application.

The Result

The completed brass table tops provide a combination of functionality and decorative appeal, serving as customer-facing counters and practical working surfaces while helping establish the unique character of the coffee shop.

By incorporating the required service openings during manufacture, we ensured the table tops could accommodate the necessary plumbing and connections while maintaining a clean, considered finish.

This project demonstrates the versatility of our fabrication capabilities, extending beyond traditional industrial engineering into bespoke architectural metalwork and decorative finishes.

From industrial fabrication to bespoke interior metalwork, we take pride in producing quality, made-to-measure solutions that bring our customers' designs to life.
